Deadlift

Instructions

Dead lift, lift weight off floor, Return to floor
1. Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart and your legs straight. Hold a barbell in both hands with a pronated (palms toward you) grip.
2. Lean forward from your hips, pushing them rearward and directing your weight down through your heels. Move the weight down your legs until your back is parallel to the floor. If you begin to round your back as you lean forward, stop the movement immediately.
After reaching the bottom position, lift your torso upward and push your hips forward until you are in the starting position.
