Green Turtle Pond

Green Turtle Pond The property that comprised the Wanaque Wildlife Management Area, formerly managed by the Division of Fish & Wildlife is now under the administration of Long Pond Ironworks and Ringwood State Park. Within the property is access to Green Turtle Pond, which is stocked with trout in the spring. A parking lot and boat ramp are located nearby. The area also is open to hunting, with the exception of Sunday.

Below is the latest iteration of a map of the trails in Green Turtle Pond formerly the Wanaque Waldlife Management Area in Hewitt, NJ 07421.  Most of the trails are double track colored green in the map below.  Existing sinle track are blue.  There are still plenty of trails I have yet to gps butthis should get you going.  If you want to print out a copy right click on this link, choose save the target as, give it a name, save it, right click and choose print full page fax image. 

The map of Green Turtle Pond below is incomplete.  but the topo layer will give some indication of the topography. 

Mostly Quad trails below, needs refinement.
