African Safari
- Head up airport road. You’ll see parking on the left before the gate. Park. Go through the gate, he’ll want to enter the fence at the kiosk. Make an immediate right on Animal Shute, take that to the top,
- Make a right and bear right along the parking lot to as you begin climbing a small hill and the back lot comes into view, keep an eye out for the entrance to Warthog.
- Make a right into Warthog and ride it around the parking lot until you exit onto the Pedestrian area through a fence.
- As you exit Warhog make a right and follow the pavement to the right, you will see an old otter slide on your left hand side.
- The entrance to Otter Slide is in front of you as it makes a quick switchback to line up your ride. Ride the switchabcks to the top.
- At the top take the trail to the left. After a few small logs you will come to a double track bear left towards the
- Tanks, continue on the double track past through the fence. to exit on the road (Safari 1).
- Make a left on the road amd immediately look for the orange blazes marking the entrance to Big Cats (Tiger Pen).
- Exit Big Cats through the fence at the intersection of Goat on the left and Fish on the right, make a right on Fish, you'll know if you're on the right trail if you ride over a small woodpile obstacle. If you wind up on the road turn around and start over. Fish is a sweet ridge ride through a stand of silver birch past a glacial erratic down to the intersection with
- Dumptruck Climb. (Why this is not named after and animal is a story lost in the mists of time). Make a left as you start to work your way downhill.
- Bear right along and through the fence.
- Exit onto the Road (Safari 1-Again) and make a left, make a quick right onto Lower Shute and climb back up to
- the kiosk where you started.
